do you feel like you are living in the fun house? is there anything you may be find to be deceptive going on in your life? whether it is deception from you, or another, the sun square neptune today could leave you staring into a twisted mirror, or snap you out of a rose tinted haze. the sun in cancer is bringing the self (sun) inward (cancer). neptune in aries is dissolving (neptune) our sense of self (aries).

the next few days will have this lingering fun house feeling. keep in mind that perception is reality, so if you don’t like what you see trying looking at it from a different angle.

they say seeing is believing but ask critical questions to help decipher the truth. trust your intuition, and never assume anything. ask questions, gather the evidence, and let your heart make the final call.

don’t let the what if stop you from trying. are you ready to leap, but scared to fly? I am right there with you. there’s a lot of cautious optimism in the air recently, and it comes to a peak today with the sun conjunction jupiter. normally, this would be a happy go luck, feeling of untouchability. however, both the sun & jupiter are still in tense aspect to saturn & neptune — so the anxiety (neptune) is putting us in a choke hold (saturn).

i say anxiety because mercury (the mind) is also square chiron (the wound). the mind over the past week has inched closer and closer to this gut feeling that if you take a chance you may shoot yourself in the foot. dipping your toe in to test the waters before diving head first is a good middle ground.

the moon moves from gemini to cancer today which means a much needed new moon is around the corner!

feeling like you’re ready to take your shot, but you keep shooting blanks (or even worse you left the safety on)? this is the gist of today’s cancer new moon. this week continuously has moments that feel like all the efforts are in vein and you keep the new moon is a culmination of this energy

the good news is that this new moon has the support of jupiter & mars, so the willingness and desire to start working on new growth is here. it’s like the universe is saying “line up your target and take the shot.” the less good news is that saturn & neptune are making tense aspects to the sun moon & jupiter, which is why it feels like there are so many road blocks.

what do you want to take your time growing? what in your life needs the space to incubate slowly so it can help create a stable foundation in your life to fall back on? be patient with yourself and don’t throw in the towel too early.

rather than taking the safest route, consider taking the most interesting one. off the heels of the cancer new moon, the most obvious thought is “how do I create safety in my life right now?” which is valid, but have you considered all the possible avenues to attain that safety?

mercury sextile uranus wants us to embrace originality and novel thoughts. the sun sextile mars stirs up a bit of risk taking energy within us. keep in mind, all four of these planets are in water & earth signs which don’t love going off the beaten path, but its good to push your comfort zones so you don’t get complacent.

the fog is lifting and the inspiration will be flowing. the work week will definitely feel less hunky dory but the weekend gives us a moment of clarity that we’ve been looking for. growing the dream by investing time and resources into grounding relationships and steadfast values becomes easier. venus in taurus sextile the north node in pisces is like finding the perfect bowl to all your favorite trinkets into. the vision becomes more concrete.

and the best part is that the anxious, overthinky energy from earlier this week should start to lift. expect to start thinking more boldly, while keeping a careful eye on your ego. you’ll be able to rely on your voice and trust your ideas to keep your inspiration grounded. with mercury in leo trine saturn in aries the mind takes a moment to stabilize and remembers that you’ve always been that bitch.
